Fortunately you can avoid this problem by learning how to make your own eye cream at home. You can use natural ingredients to create homemade eye creams, serums and gels. You can add in your favourite scents such as lavender, cocoa butter or aloe vera. Your personalized eye care products will pamper, cleanse, nourish and protect your skin around the eyes as well as getting rid of those bags or under eye wrinkles.

With just a few easy-to-find ingredients and a few minutes to spare, you will be able to come up with an organic treatment that can keep crow’s feet and fine lines away.

Following are some DIY Eye Cream Recipes you can use to reduce the appearance of wrinkles around your eyes.

DIY Eye Cream Recipe #1

You will need 3 slices of avocado and 5 drops of sweet almond essential oil.  You use a fork to mash the avocado slices and then you add in 5 drops of almond essential oil to form a paste. You spread this avocado anti-wrinkle eye cream on the skin around your eyes and leave it there for about 5 minutes. Then you rinse it off with lukewarm water.

DIY Eye Cream Recipe #2

You will need 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil, 5 drops of chamomile essential oil and 5 drops of rose essential oil. You mix them all together to form an eye serum. You pour this into a glass bottle fitted with a dropper. You use the dropper to drip one drop of the mixture on the skin under your eyes.

DIY Eye Cream Recipe #3

You will need 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel, 1 teaspoon of fresh cucumber juice, ¼ teaspoon of cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of witch hazel. You mix the aloe vera gel, cucumber juice and cornstarch together then put them on a saucepan and heat it until boiling.

Then you pour the mixture from the saucepan into a bowl. You will next add in 1 tablespoon of witch hazel to the contents in the bowl. Stir well and let the mixture cool. Store it in a clean jar and keep in a cool place. You can then apply this mixture on the skin under your eyes.

DIY Eye Cream Recipe #4

You will need 2 tablespoons of petroleum jelly, 2 tablespoons of cocoa butter and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. You mix all of them together in a bowl. Then you heat the mixture over a burner for about 15 seconds, stirring to keep the mixture consistent. Then you store this in a glass container in a cool place. You can apply this cream to the eye area nightly.

DIY Eye Cream Recipe #5

You will need 5 drops of Primrose Evening Oil and 5 drops of Vitamin E oil. You mix both of them together and store the mixture in a glass container in a cool place. You can apply this mixture to the skin under the eyes nightly.

Applying Vitamin E to your skin (especially the delicate skin around your eyes) reduces sun damage! Vitamin E works because it is a great antioxidant which reduces the harmful radicals caused by UV rays that cause black spots and other blemishes to your skin!

Primrose oil has been shown to reduce eczema, scabs and redness, and dermatitis, but when applied to your skin in small amounts, can remove redness and minor blemishes, help dry skin feel suppler and younger and can be used to remove fine wrinkles!
