The oil in our skin is needed to protect and moisturize the skin. It is our body’s natural way of removing dust and dead skin cells off the skin and giving it a rejuvenated look.

You can take comfort from knowing that the oil in our skin delays wrinkling, age spots, and fine lines, and sebaceous glands (which produce the oil) become less active as we age. The problem arises when the skin secretes excessive oil which clogs the pores of the skin, resulting in the production of blackheads and pimples.

Oily skin care treatments involve taking steps to keep pores from getting clogged and blemishes from appearing. Regular care and appropriate treatment of oily skin by means of using a face toner for oily skin can go a long way in keeping it clean and blemish free.
