Skin Tightening Recipe#1


You have to grate a potato and get the juice out of it. Add that to one tablespoon of corn flour and one teaspoon of honey. Leave it on for about a quarter of an hour and then rinse off. You will notice that your skin definitely feels tighter.

Mix an egg white with a teaspoon of honey and olive oil to prepare a mask to reduce wrinkles. Smear this homemade mask on your face and neck for 15-20 minutes. Egg in this mask will help to tighten the pores and honey will act as a great moisturizer.


This egg white mask will give you a firm and tightening look and at the same time it is beneficial for dry and dull skin. It may take 10-15 minutes.


You might be able to feel the tightening of your skin, irrespective of your skin type. For those who are put off by the egg smell, simply put rose water on your face. Using a facial mask on a weekly basis helps to tighten your skin naturally.

Mix milk cream, sandalwood and turmeric to make a face pack. Take one tablespoon Sandalwood Powder, a pinch of Turmeric Powder and one tablespoon of Milk Cream (boil some milk for about ten minutes and let it cool for some time, you would be able to see a thick layer of cream on the top), mix them well together and apply on your face. Rinse off after fifteen minutes.


Sandalwood has cooling and skin tightening properties, milk cream nourishes your skin and Turmeric is known for its anti-bacterial and skin brightening properties. This face pack nourishes, tightens skin, heals adult acne, lightens age spots, cools skin and brings glow to your face.


Note: Turmeric can stain your cloth so make sure you don’t wear any light colored cloth while applying this mask.


Skin Tightening Recipe#4


You can also prepare your own coffee and plum exfoliator.  Coffee exfoliates, revitalizes and has anti-aging properties; Plum is another effective antioxidant so this combination makes a wonderful anti-aging exfoliator.


Take one Tablespoon fine ground coffee and mix it with 3 mashed Plums and one teaspoon honey. Apply it on your face and gently scrub off after ten minutes.

You can prepare a skin toner using Green Tea and Chamomile. Green Tea and Chamomile is a very effective Anti-aging toner. Boil one cup Water and steep one Green tea Bag and one Chamomile Tea Bag. Let it cool for some time.


Apply it on your face with the help of a cotton ball. Do NOT rinse. This toner not only takes care of signs of aging but also soothes puffy eyes and lightens your complexion.

One of my favourite skin tightening recipes is the peach facial, which works very well as a tightening mask. Simply take a ripened peach, and remove the skin and the pit from the center.


Place the peach and the whites from a single egg in a blender, and whip until smooth. Pat the mixture onto your face, and allow it to sit there for 30 minutes. Rinse with cold water.

I have found that the apple mask is very good for normal skin. Peel, core, and quarter an apple. Chop the apple in your blender, and add two tablespoons of honey. Blend until smooth. Then remove the mixture from the blender, and refrigerate for approximately 10 minutes.


Apply the mixture to your face using a patting motion, and be sure to pat until the honey becomes tacky. Leave it on for about 30 minutes, and rinse with warm water.


Skin Tightening Recipe#8


This facial mask is excellent for blemished skin. Chop a ripened tomato into small pieces, and place it in your blender. Add one tablespoon of lemon juice and some instant oatmeal or rolled oats.


Mix until it is all combined. Do not mix for too long, as it will not stick to your face. If it gets too thin, simply add more oatmeal. Apply the mixture, and leave it on for 10 minutes. Scrub it off using a warm, wet cloth.
