If you want, instead of using milk, you can either use half teaspoon of brown sugar which exfoliates and moisturizes the skin or you can add in 1 teaspoon of plain yogurt.

 

You mix all the ingredients together, and then you apply the mixture all over your face avoiding the eye area. Leave it for 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water.

 

Apple Cider Vinegar Pumpkin Scrub for Oily Skin

 

For this recipe, you will need 1 tablespoon of pureed pumpkin and 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. You mix the ingredients together and then you apply the mixture to your damp face. Leave it on until dry or up to 30 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.

 

Sugar Pumpkin Scrub for Glowing Skin

 

For this recipe, you will need 5 to 6 tablespoons of pumpkin pulp, 3 tablespoons of sugar and half teaspoon of pumpkin seed oil. You mix all of them together to form a thick paste. Then you apply this on your face and gently scrub after 2 to 3 minutes.

 

You can also prepare a pumpkin body scrub by combining 1 cup of pumpkin pulp and one-third cup of sugar. After you bath, you dry your body and then you apply this all over your body. You start from the lower leg and rub it up and down gently and slowly. The abrasiveness of the sugar will start to remove the dead skin cells.

 

You can also prepare a pumpkin foot scrub if you want to. For this, you will need 1 tablespoon each of pureed pumpkin, brown sugar, coffee powder, lemon juice and lastly the carrier oil which can be almond oil, jojoba oil or extra virgin olive oil.
