“I’m a big believer in that if you focus on good skin care, you really won’t need a lot of make-up – Demi Moore.

Not only is your skin the largest organ in your body, but it is also the first line of defence against the harsh rays of the summer sun, the cold winter weather, air-conditioned offices and shopping malls, as well as environmental toxins and pollution.

The results of a study published in 2013 in the Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigational Dermatology Journal found that 80% of skin aging is as a result of the harmful effects of UV as well as exposure to the sun.

Therefore, the question that begs is how do you take care of your skin to prevent premature aging and damage caused by the external factors mentioned above?

Anti-aging skin care tips

By way of answering the question posed above, here is a list of some of the best anti-aging skin care tips to help you look after your skin:

Anti-aging skin care tips #1- Implement a daily skin care routine

To protect and nourish your skin it is vital to implement a daily skin care regimen. Because your skin works 24/7 to protect your body, it is essential to feed, cleanse, and hydrate it twice per day.

There are many products available on the market for all different types of skin. Therefore, it is a good idea to purchase a range of skin care products that suits your skin type.

Anti-aging skin care tips #2- Drink lots of water

Your skin, like any other organ, is made up of cells which in turn are made up of water. Therefore, water is a crucial part of a cell’s ability to function optimally.

If you do not drink enough water, your skin will start dehydrating causing a tight, dry, and flaky skin which is prone to wrinkling.

Additionally, your skin is the last organ to receive the water that you drink; therefore, it is important to hydrate your skin externally. This will improve its hydration as well as help to prevent wrinkles.

Anti-aging skin care tips #3- Regular exercise

Peter Jaret of WebMD.com notes that “regular exercise is one of the keys to a healthy skin.” Primarily, it improves your cardiovascular system which, in turn, can pump more blood to your skin; thereby, nourishing your skin cells. In essence, blood carries nutrients and oxygen to all of the working cells in your body, including your skin cells.

Furthermore, your blood helps carry away waste products from your skin to be neutralised by your liver. Therefore, exercise gets your heart pumping faster, which in turn sends nutrients and oxygen to your skin’s cells and removes toxins and waste products from your skin’s cells. Final words

Even though it is a challenge to take time out of your busy daily schedule, it is important to take care of your skin. Not only to prevent aging, but to also prevent damage caused by the environment and the modern world that you live in.

4 Easy Workouts to Lift Up Your Butt

4 Easy Workouts to Lift Up Your Butt - Today, we’re going to do an exercise that you can use to lift up your butt. Here are 4 workouts and each one is specifically designed to lift up your butt. Read on to find out more.
Click HERE to find out how you get the perfect bikini butt and beach ready body

Today, we’re going to do an exercise that you can use to lift up your butt. We’re going to do 4 workouts and each one is specifically designed to lift up your butt.

You can also watch this Video HERE to learn how to lift up your butt

The first exercise is the “burpees.”

Now, burpees are great for lifting your butt because when you jump up and then squat, you’re really going to contract the butt and that’s going to lift up that butt muscle.

Make sure you don’t arch your back, keep your spine tall and engage your core.

When you come down, jump your feet back. Make sure you don’t drop your butt.

A lot of people make this mistake so you really want to use your core to make sure you’re in a plank position.

And then when you jump forward, you squeeze that butt again.

So, that’s going to help lift your butt as you explosive jump up and that’s one burpee.

The next exercise is called a “Twisted Lunge.”

In the lunge position, we’re going to once again contract that butt muscle because that’s what going to lift up your butt.

When you lunge down, you’re going to keep those butt muscles contracted and then we’re going to twist to the side and that’s one.

You come back up and then you go down, so that’s two.

The third exercise is called “mountain climbers.”

With mountain climbers, you come down to a plank position…

Start with your core engaged, then switch your right foot forward and then your left.

Now, it’s really important that you squeeze that butt muscle every time you move your right foot forward and your left foot forward because that’s going to lift up your butt even faster.

And the fourth exercise in this butt-lift series is called the “Standing Split.”

From here, you’re going to squat down with your right knee almost to the ground and then when you straighten your front leg, you’re going to reach that top leg up to a standing split.

Now, you can feel that the standing leg is really going to tighten as you lower and as you straighten.

It’s really important to listen to your body, this is a very deep lunge right here.

Even if you don’t go all the way, you’re still getting that butt nice, tone and lifted.

So, we’re going to do each side for 30 seconds and then we’re going to alternate to the other leg and do that same movement on the other side.

Then we’re going to rest for 30 seconds. I’ve got a timer right here.

Are you ready to go?

Take a deep breath in. Here we go.

Let’s go to burpees. Jump up and down. Use your core. Breathe.

Make sure you’re engaging the butt muscle so we can lift that butt up.

All right, lunging twist.

Lunge and twist. Come back and up. So, now we’re really isolating into that butt muscle.

You can feel how it’s contracting and lifting. Make sure you keep your breath flowing and you keep your spine tall, engage your core.

It’s going to lift up your butt from all angles.

Next is mountain climbers, let’s assume plank position.

Keep your breath going, keep it moving. Squeeze that butt so you get a really nice, lifted butt.

After that is the standing splits, so kneel down and squeeze that leg up.

You can slow this one down because you really want to isolate the movement and you really want to feel that glute muscle contracting.

This is what’s going to lift up your butt and give you that nice, round, perky butt.

So, the standing leg is the one that’s taking the most of the tension but I also feel it in the butt muscle that’s lifting the split up.

This is how you get maximum results with the least amount of effort, AND in the least amount of time.

All right, we’re going to rest for 30 seconds. Keep breathing, it’s so important to oxygenate your body.

For the full workout you want to do this for a total of 3 rounds.

You’re going to feel so good. You’re going to have a nice, tight, tone and lifted butt.

You know, a lot of people are going to come up and say, “How did you get that butt?”

And you’re going to say, “Well, I was doing Andréa’s butt workout. And she’s the one who showed me how you can get a nice, tone, lifted butt in just a few minutes a day.”

You don’t have to spend thousands of dollars on a personal trainer or go to a gym.

When you feel great wearing your bikini at the beach or at the pool, it’s all worth it.

This workout is what’s going to burn that butt fat for you.

You deserve a great butt. You deserve to feel great.

How to Protect Your Child from Eczema Triggers – Dust Mites

How to Protect Your Child from Eczema Triggers – Dust Mites . One of the most common eczema triggers, especially among children are dust mites. The problem is that this is one of those known eczema triggers that are quite difficult to manage. Here are some tips you can follow.

One of the most common eczema triggers, especially among children are dust mites. The problem is that this is one of those known eczema triggers that are quite difficult to manage. If your child is suffering from persistent flare-ups, the bed and some areas of your house may be infested with these tiny critters.

Eliminating eczema triggers such as dust mites is not exactly cheap and the process can be a bit tedious. If your child is diagnosed with dust mite allergy, then you should include dust mite elimination an important part of your eczema treatment plan.

Know Your Enemy

Dust mites are essentially scavengers that love to nest in warm, moist environment. They are naturally drawn to rats, birds and yes, to humans as they main food includes dander or dead skin cells.

However, dust mites are known to consume anything organic. Basically, eczema, asthma and rhinitis are triggered by the enzymes found in these creatures’ droppings, triggering an allergic reaction.

Controlling Dust Mites and Eczema

It can be impossible to totally get rid of dust mites for good. However, you can significantly reduce these eczema triggers if you work on reducing their population, which will result to reduced droppings.

Dust mites are known to be highly active and breed when temperatures are above 20°C and when the humidity level is above 50%.

With this in mind, one of the effective ways to control the infestation of dust mites in your home environment is kept clean and dry. Through regular cleaning, you will be able to minimize their food sources.

Protecting Your Child from Dust Mites

The bedding is one of the common sources of dust mites, which can easily set off an eczema flare-up. This can be a problem with small children who are known to spend an average of 14 hours in their beds. With this in mind, the best way to manage eczema triggers is to control dust mites.

Here are some tips:

Air the beddings daily. Make sure comforters, cots and mattresses are aired daily. Leave them out under the sun for a couple of hours and clean the thoroughly.

Use 60°C hot wash. When it comes to cleaning the beddings, warm washing is highly recommended to effectively get rid of dust mites. You can soak the beddings with 1 part eucalyptus oil and 120 parts warm water for about 30 minutes.

Wash pillows and duvets regularly. Make sure to buy a spare duvet and pillows to allow you to clean them twice a week.

Avoid putting your kids to bed with wet hair. As mentioned, dust mites thrive in warm and moist environment. Wet hair can dampen the pillow, which will provide a perfect breeding ground for dust mites.

Finding an effective eczema treatment is never a one step process.  It is made up of combined efforts to eliminate exposure to known eczema triggers and fortifying the body to allow healing from within with an effective eczema diet plan.

This will require you to avoid foods that can trigger eczema which also include processed foods and have more of those foods that can help the body to build the immune system to combat eczema.

For this, you need to pick food items that are naturally rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, which are known to have that anti-inflammatory effect. Salmon and tuna are known to be good sources.

You also need to eat foods that are rich in Vitamin C and E to boost the immune system and nourish the skin from within.

It will be better to include oolong tea and yogurt in your eczema diet plan. Why?

Oolong tea is actually a staple in Chinese pantries, which somewhat tastes like bitter green tea and robust black tea combined. In fact, in a study conducted in Japan, people who drank this tea three times a day were known to enjoy relief from eczema after only a week.

Yogurt is known to contain beneficial bacteria that can work wonders for the immune system, otherwise known as probiotics. Regular intake can boost the immune system cells found in the intestinal tract.

Every minute you take in 15 to 20 breaths — that’s more than 20,000 breaths a day. So it goes without saying that your lungs have their work cut out for them.

With each inhalation, the oxygen you breathe in gets transferred from your lungs into your bloodstream and to each and every cell in your body, sustaining your very survival.

Your lungs also receive quite a bit of exposure to pollutants from the air you breathe. Exhaust, cleaning chemicals, solvents, paints and even fragrances are just a few examples of toxins that reach your lungs.

The chronic inhalation of polluted air is known to promote widespread inflammation in your body, which sets the stage for various chronic diseases, including lung diseases.

As in the rest of your body, chronic inflammation is dangerous for your lung health. As written in the Journal of Inflammation Research:

“In the lung, inflammation is usually caused by pathogens or by exposure to toxins, pollutants, irritants, and allergens. During inflammation, numerous types of inflammatory cells are activated. Each releases cytokines and mediators to modify activities of other inflammatory cells. Orchestration of these cells and molecules leads to progression of inflammation.

Clinically, acute inflammation is seen in pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), whereas chronic inflammation is represented by asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Because the lung is a vital organ for gas exchange, excessive inflammation can be life threatening. Because the lung is constantly exposed to harmful pathogens, an immediate and intense defense action (mainly inflammation) is required to eliminate the invaders as early as possible. A delicate balance between inflammation and anti-inflammation is essential for lung homeostasis.”

6 Anti-Inflammatory Foods for Healthy Lungs

As you may know, your diet can play a major role in chronic inflammation, as many foods are either pro- or anti-inflammatory. A diet rich in anti-inflammatory foods, and specifically those that also offer additional supportive nutrients for your lungs, is absolutely essential to maintain and protect your respiratory health.

If you want to keep your lungs strong and well, try eating more of these top foods for healthy lungs. This is especially important if you are a current or former smoker, as the right foods can help enhance healing.

  1. Kiwi

Kiwi is rich in vitamin C, an antioxidant that has been shown to protect the lungs, promote better lung function and even help prevent the development of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

  1. Salmon and Sardines

These fish are rich in anti-inflammatory omega-3 fats, which have been shown to help improve lung function in people with COPD.

  1. Yellow, Orange and Red Fruits and Veggies

Foods including carrots, squash, red peppers, papaya, watermelon and tomatoes are rich in carotenoids, which are known to reduce the risk of lung cancer.

  1. Broccoli and Other Cruciferous Veggies

Broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, Bok Choy and kale are examples of cruciferous veggies that are known to lower lung cancer risk. They also contain a compound, sulphoraphane, that has been found to help remove debris and bacteria from the lungs.

  1. Apples

Apples contain an antioxidant called quercetin that may help protect your lungs from air pollutants. Eating apples has been linked to greater lung capacity and better lung function.

  1. Flavonoid-Rich Fruits and Veggies

Flavonoids are plant pigments that are anti-inflammatory, anti-mutagenic and anti-carcinogenic. Certain flavonoids, including epicatechin, catechin, quercetin, and kaempferol, appear particularly useful in protecting the lungs, and have been shown to lower the risk of lung cancer among smokers. Strawberries, green and black tea, onions, beans, apples and Brussels sprouts are examples of such flavonoid-rich foods for your lungs.

How to Actually Get Pain Relief for Syringomyelia Easily? If you are looking for a safe pain relief for syringomyelia, read on to find out more
A Safe Natural Alternative Pain Relief with No Side Effects; Click HERE

Do you want to get pain relief for syringomyelia? Syringomyelia is one of those rare back pain conditions many have never heard of.

Only around 40,000 Americans are known to have it. Yet if you’ve been diagnosed with syringomyelia you already understand its potentially devastating effects.

Recently I received a letter from Barbara who has suffered with the condition for years. She wrote of the pain and other effects syringomyelia causes:

“Syringomyelia (SM) is a Neurological condition that affects many parts of the body. A cyst forms inside the Spinal Cord and slows the spinal fluid down to where it does not flow properly.

There are secondary side effects of SM which are nearly just as painful such as scoliosis, spondylitis, paralysis, palsy, and many more. Little is known about the disease and mine was caused by trauma and I have suffered beyond belief for over six years now.”

I’ll share how Barbara was able to almost completely wean herself off morphine(!) for her pain in a moment, but first let me explain what we know about the condition.

What Is Syringomyelia?

While there are two significant types of syringomyelia, both are characterized by the formation of an expanding cyst, called a syrinx, inside the spinal cord itself.

As the cyst expands, it first compresses the nerves in that area of the spinal cord causing pain and other dysfunction beginning with weakness, numbness and impairment of temperature sensitivity.

Over time, the syrinx may permanently damage and even completely destroy the spinal cord with severe consequences including loss of bladder and bowel control, sexual dysfunction and even paralysis.

What Causes Syringomyelia?

The first major form of syringomyelia is called communicating syringomyelia. Associated with an anatomical brain abnormality called a Chiari I malformation, the lower part of the cerebellum protrudes from the head into the cervical (neck) part of the spinal canal allowing a cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) filled syrinx to develop in the cervical area.

Symptoms of communicating syringomyelia often appear in early to mid-adulthood and may be accompanied by hydrocephalus (an accumulation of CSF in the brain) or arachnoiditis (inflammation of the spinal cord membrane).

The second major form, non-communicating syringomyelia, follows some form of trauma to the spinal cord that affects the movement of CSF through the area, prompting cyst growth. Trauma may be a direct injury or an side effect of another condition such as meningitis, hemorrhage, tumor or arachnoiditis.

Treatments for Syringomyelia

Standard treatment for syringomyelia typically involves some type of surgery. The surgery performed depends on the location and form of syrinx.

Often surgery involves placing a shunt to drain CSF filling the syrinx (or accumulating on the brain) into the abdomen. When the cause of syringomyelia is a tumor, removal by surgery is usually the preferred option.

Syringomyelia is one of the few conditions doctors actually agree with us that drugs are of little or no value, other than the pills they prescribe to deal with the pain.

Since any surgery around the brain or spinal cord carries tremendous risk and drugs don’t help, we’ve received letters asking what else we can do about the condition.

Watch this Video HERE about Pain Relief for Syringomyelia which is presented by Jan M. Keppel Hesselink, MD, PhD.

A Natural Alternative Pain Relief for Syringomyelia

While syringomyelia remains largely a mystery to the medical community, we do know fibrosis (internal scar tissue) is associated with the formation of many types of cysts.

Breaking down the excess fibrin behind fibrosis is the job of proteolytic enzymes throughout your body. Your pancreas makes these enzymes naturally but the amount of enzymes made declines rapidly by your late 20s.

This just so happens to coincide with the typical onset of symptoms of those with communicating syringomyelia (not to mention the lengthening of recovery time from injuries in general).

In the case of non-communicating syringomyelia, fibrosis likely plays a role in cyst formation due to the body’s natural response to any injury – flooding the area with white blood cells, instigating inflammation and laying down layers of protein-based fibrin to repair the injured area.

That’s why we weren’t completely surprised by Barbara’s letter. Here’s what she did:

“I take 6 Heal-n-Soothe® a day in place of the Morphine. I still take one Morphine a day but look forward to only taking the Heal-n-Soothe®. The side effects of Morphine are not good, whereas the side effects of Heal-n-Soothe® do not exist.”

If you’re not familiar with Heal-n-Soothe®, it’s our leading supplement which combines high doses of proteolytic enzymes with a dozen powerful natural anti-inflammatories. We get reports all the time from around the world of individuals tossing their pain pills in the trash in favor of this much safer, natural alternative.

Of course, since the proteolytic enzymes and other ingredients support a natural process rather than chemically hide pain, it may take a little longer to get full results and you need to take it consistently. Barbara knew this and benefitted as a result:

“I highly recommend the Heal-n-Soothe® for those who are suffering chronic pain. As with all natural products, you must give it time to work and not just take it for a short time and give up on it. My Neurologist has encouraged me to take it, as well. I am not afraid of ending up in a wheelchair with the SM because of the Heal-n-Soothe®, I believe it will gradually heal my spinal cord and to just be relieved of the horrible pain is so wonderful.”

Heal-n-Soothe® is so much safer than drugs you have nothing to lose giving it a try.

And unlike drugs, our supplement is guaranteed to work for your pain or your money back.

Isn’t it time you gave Heal-n-Soothe® a try?
