Blackheads, those little black colored sports that generally pop up on your nose and chin area can be very frustrating. No matter how clean your face is, just seeing those staring back at you from your reflection in the mirror can make you feel unclean.

If you’re one of the thousands trying to figure out a way how to remove blackheads, let’s take a step back for a moment. Though blackhead removal is necessary in order to give your skin a healthy, blemish free and clean look, you should not just rush into any treatment and inadvertently causing damage to your skin. Trust me when I say that I understand completely that blackheads are horrid things that need to be dealt with immediately. How do I remove blackheads?

The first step that you can do to remove blackheads is to have healthy skin practice food habits. Proper hygiene is usually a good preventive measure and you should wash your face regularly with cold water twice a day morning and night.

Scrubbing the skin too much can also increase oil secretion in the skin on the face and thus, may lead to accumulation of dirt in the pores, leading to blackheads being formed.

Also using skin products with high oil content can also increase the blackheads occurring on the skin and on the face. While squeezing is the most common way to remove blackheads, it cannot and should not be done by using excessive physical strength, as it can lead to more acne related problems. It is also not one of the best ways to remove blackheads.

Food habits also play an important rule. Simply change your diet to include more fruits and vegetables while decreasing your intake of greasy or oily foods. Eating healthy food and consuming water in plenty are the best remedies for glowing, healthy and blemish free skin. As much as 8 to ten bottles of water a day, is a good way to start on this regimen. This will flush toxins out of your body.

Before you use any of the following ways to remove blackheads naturally, it is best to try steaming your face. You put boiling water into the bowl and put your face over it. Now cover your head with the towel and stay there for about five minutes.

Or you can just simply wash your face with warm water. The heat will open your pores and loosen the dirt and dead skin cells that are clogging them. This will make it easier for you to remove blackheads and whiteheads.

Try any of these natural remedies to remove blackheads

Lemon– Apply the mixture of lemon juice with the pinch of salt on blackheads but before that wash your face with warm water. Be careful not to get the juice in or near the eyes. Leave it on your face for 20 minutes and after that wash again your face with warm water.

More and more people want to buy Manuka honey. Manuka honey is a type of honey only found in New Zealand (Manuka is New Zealand’s native tree). It is recognised internationally because it contains unique phytochemical properties, making it more valuable and superior than other types of honey. The big audience slowly becomes aware of the benefits of this special honey.

Many are correctly wary of the next so called miracle product that’s being hyped by the natural products business. But when the first celebrities like Britney Spears, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Katherine Jenkins embrace this wonderful natural product the mass will follow soon. And not just like that.

This honey from New Zealand actually IS a unique and wonderful product. Hospitals, burn centers and doctors have rediscovered the medical uses of this special natural product. It is increasingly considered a viable treatment but also as an effective home remedy for many complaints like acid reflux and ringworm.

Manuka honey may also be an effective treatment for high cholesterol and heart disease. A recent German study found that manuka honey did not significantly lower cholesterol in patients. However, natural health experts argue that honey, particularly when mixed with cinnamon, can actually help unclog arteries and reduces the risk of heart attack.

For at least 2700 years, honey has been used by humans to treat a variety of ailments through topical application, but only recently have the antiseptic and antibacterial properties of honey been chemically explained.

When honey is used topically (as, for example, a wound dressing), hydrogen peroxide is produced by dilution of the honey with body fluids. As a result, hydrogen peroxide is released slowly and acts as an antiseptic.

Clinical studies demonstrate that Manuka Honey produces faster results with fewer complications compared to the standard medical treatments for everything from infected wounds to eczema. Manuka Honey is found to have anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antibacterial properties and has been found to have no negative side effects when used for medical purposes.

Topical honey has been used successfully in a comprehensive treatment of diabetic ulcers when the patient cannot use other topical antibiotics. Inflammation, swelling and pain are quickly reduced in acne, unpleasant odours cease, sloughing of necrotic tissue occurs.

In many of the cases, honey was used on infected acne lesions not responding to standard antibiotic and antiseptic therapy. It was found in almost all of the cases to be very effective in rapidly clearing up infection and promoting healing.

Honey has been widely use as a topical antibacterial agent for the treatment of spots, blemishes and scarring acne, there being many reports of its effectiveness.

When the question is about making oneself look beautiful nobody would set their feet back; they will buy manuka honey and take complete advantage of excellent properties of this honey.

One of my favourite natural treatments for acne and spots is honey. Honey applied in the early stages of an acne spot, will help the skin, by reducing the inflammation in the tissues. Honey is a very useful, natural remedy for acne and research has shown it to be very effective.

Just apply the honey on your face, gently massage in a circular motion for about a minute before you rinse it off. This works on all types of skin, especially for acne and aging skin.

You can also use Manuka honey in your facial masks and exfoliators to keep your skin clean, soft and glowing. So there is a natural skin treatment – try Manuka honey, you will be amazed with the results.

But you have to realize that some Manuka honey is better than others depending on its UMF factor. The higher the UMF level, the higher the level of anti-bacterial benefits.  UMF which stands for Unique Manuka Factor is a quality grading which meets some stringent laboratory testing in order to be labelled as “active”.

If you want to buy the real thing you should only buy Manuka honey that has UMF on its label with a rating of at least 15 UMF (or a MGO Rating of minimal 100). It is only then that the the honey may be marketed as UMF Manuka honey or Active Manuka Honey. Once you see this on the side of the bottle you’ll know that you have the right product for honey for acne.

Skin care is an on-going process and natural ingredients such as active manuka honey can be a vital step. Take the time to find a safe, gentle, all-natural product which works for you and your skin will respond. You’ll be looking and feeling younger and healthier before you know it, the all-natural way!

Pimples are probably one of the most common problems that teenagers are facing nowadays. It may sound superficial, but these unpleasant skin ailments go beyond the physical. These visible spots and blemishes on the face can actually cause a detrimental effect to the sufferer.

Without acne free skin, people usually get self-conscious and become insecure about their self-appearance. More often than not, this usually leads to poor self-esteem.

This allows many manufacturers that to come out various skin care products to cater to the demand for an acne free skin, but how well do these formulas actually work in treating unsightly lesions on the skin?

Most products come supported by grand promises of swift and complete elimination of acne lesions, with every company claiming superiority over the others. What is the real truth about these treatments?

Well, most of the topical acne free skin care formulas revolve around the use of benzoyl peroxide as a primary ingredient. This compound can be very effective in the elimination of the propionibacterium acnes, but it can be incredibly harsh.

Most users of benzoyl peroxide formulas will experience irritation, reddening of the skin, dry patches, itching, and sometimes flaking of the skin.

The fact is an effective acne free skin care formula does not have to be harsh or even harmful in order to rid the skin of acne related lesions. For example, what set off the chain of events that eventually leads to acne development is hormonal imbalances which lead to excessive oil bonding with dead skin cells to plug the follicles in your skin. Most acne formula use alcohols as a method of stripping the skin of excess oils.

Unfortunately, there is no one definite solution to removing pimples and getting acne free skin. Your skin may not yet be crystal-clear, but there are ways on how you can eliminate pimples and prevent more nasty breakouts from happening in the future.

Today, I am going to share with you about how you can have an acne free skin without using any harsh chemicals but only natural ingredients which are also cost-effective.

The reason that I choose natural ingredients over those formulas the big companies push is because they are extremely gentle and won’t irritate your skin. Eventually, all those commercial formulas will only lead to future breakouts because all acne sufferers have sensitive skin.

Things to do in the morning for acne free skin

One of the natural ingredients that you should be using is Manuka honey, which is by far the most powerful antibacterial compound you are ever going to find in an acne free skin care formula.

You can wash your face with Manuka honey on every morning by applying it on your face and massaging in a circular motion for about a minute before rinsing it off with lukewarm water.

You then combine Manuka honey with apple cider vinegar to create a potent anti-acne formula that causes no negative side effects. Here is what you need to do. You mix one part apple cider vinegar with half teaspoon of Manuka honey into 8 parts of water and shake well.

You apply this mixture on your face with a cotton ball and just let it dry by itself. But, if you need to go out, you can rinse it off after 20 minutes. Before you step out of the house, you can either apply moisturizer or sunscreen lotion.

Things to do in the evening for acne free skin

After you finish your dinner, you can do oil cleansing to enhance the effectiveness of your morning routine. Oil cleansing is one of the best ways a person can get rid of acne. This is because of 3 simple things: it’s cheap, it’s natural, and it works!

All you need to do is to take some oil (according to your skin type) on your palm, rub it till it gets warm, apply it to your face and massage for 5 minutes.

There are two main ingredients for oil cleansing.  If you have normal skin, you can mix extra virgin olive oil with an equal amount of jojoba oil. For dry skin, your mixture should be 70% extra virgin olive oil and 30% castor oil.  For either oily or sensitive skin, you can combine jojoba oil with an equal amount of castor oil.

After you gently spread the oil all over your face you can

A.)        Soak a small washcloth in hot water, put it on your face, and leave it there for 5 minutes or you can

B.)        Hop in the shower and steam your face in there. Either way works perfectly well, I’ve done both. Then, just wipe off your face and splash it with cold water, you’re done!

You do your oil cleansing on the 1st and 7th day of the week.

From the 2nd to 6th day, you just wash your face with Manuka honey. If you have make-up, you remove the make-up with jojoba oil before washing your face with Manuka honey.

You can make your own even serum (which will be used from the 2nd to 6th day) by mixing 15 ml of primrose oil with 5 to 6 drops of tea tree oil.

By following the above routine consistently, you will be able to have acne free skin in less than 2 weeks. If you have acne scars, this may take a little bit longer to fade, but you should stick to the cleansing ritual so that you can ultimately achieve an acne free skin.
