The Way To Turn Yourself On Is A Click Away From Here

Here are some things you might have wondered about your penis, but were afraid to ask.

Appearance And Sensitivity Can Change With Age

There are two major changes to the appearance of a penis as a man ages. The head of the penis (glans) gradually loses its purplish color, the result of reduced blood flow. There is also a slow loss of pubic hair. As testosterone wanes, the penis gradually reverts to its pre-pubertal, mostly hairless, state.

It is normal for a penis to curve slightly to the left or right when it is erect. It is only when you have a more significant bend in your penis which may cause you pain or difficulty having sex, that you need to see a doctor. This condition, known as Peyronie’s disease, occurs most commonly in middle age. This is due to the accumulation of penile scar tissue which cause the penis to become curved

Studies have shown that the penis becomes less sensitive as men age. From age 25 on, sensitivity starts to decline. The sharpest decline in sensitivity is seen between age 65 and 75. This can make it hard to achieve an erection and to have an orgasm. Whether this will render orgasm less pleasurable remains an open question?

It Can Shrink With Less Usage

You need to have erections regularly to keep your penis in shape. It has to be essentially exercised. To maintain a healthy tone, the smooth muscle of the penis must be periodically enriched with oxygen by the rush of blood that engorges the penis and makes it erect.

If you do not do anything to maintain normal erection, the penis can get shorter. Without regular erections, penile tissue can become less elastic and shrink, making the penis 1-2 centimeters shorter. A device like a vacuum pump, which forces the penis to swell with blood, can help men with physical erection problems maintain a healthy penis.

Is Masturbation Healthy?

Due to the above reason, it is okay to masturbate. Apart from the pleasure it gives, masturbating can help you learn what you like and don’t like sexually. Men can also use masturbation to learn how to control their orgasms.

Some guys are worried that if they masturbate too often they will run out of sperm. Men will not run out of sperm, as they produce it continuously. After a man has ejaculated, it will take some time before he can ejaculate again. This is normal and doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with his sperm.

Masturbation is harmless, but if you do it too often your genitals may feel sore. If men do it a lot in a short space of time, they can get a slightly alarming looking swelling of the penis, called oedema, caused by fluid in the tissues. However, the swelling disappears within a day or two.

Another thing to take note is vigorous masturbation can rupture your penis.

No Relation Between Size And Erection

There are two types of penises. A penis that doesn’t gain much length with an erection has become known as a “shower,” and a penis that gains a lot is said to be a “grower.” However, most penises aren’t extreme showers or growers. About 12% of penises gained one-third or less of their total length with an erection, and about 7% doubled in length when erect. Generally, shorter penises increase more in length when they become erect than longer ones.

Researchers also found that the difference in length between a short penis and a longer one was a lot less obvious when erect than when flaccid. For example, the flaccid penises varied in length by 3.1cm (1.2 inches), whereas the average erect lengths differed by only 1.7cm (0.67 inches).

The Tip Is The Most Sensitive Part

Many men consider the underside of the glans (head) of the penis and the underside of the shaft to be most sensitive to sexual pleasure. The implication from this is, when a woman performs oral sex on a guy, it is not necessary for her to take it all in, which can trigger a gag reflex. What is needed is a woman should spend more time on the tip and the underside using her fingers, lips and tongue.

Circumcision And HIV

While there is not significance difference in sexual pleasure between circumcised and uncircumcised, circumcision can cut down the risk of getting HIV and passing sexually transmitted diseases to your partner. This is because certain anaerobic bacteria (which do not need oxygen to grow) thrive in the inner fold of the foreskin which is moist most of the time.

After circumcision, there are fewer kinds of bacteria on the men’s penises. This also explains why circumcision has been linked to a lower risk of getting HIV. One theory is the anaerobic bacteria may prompt the immune system to respond in a way that makes cells more vulnerable to HIV infection.

Vibrators Can Help Men With Ejaculation Problems

Vibrators aren’t only for women. They work on the penis, too. In fact, vibration is so effective on the penis that often men with spinal cord injuries can ejaculate with the aid of a special medical vibrator. For this kind of treatment, the vibrator is usually held against the underside of the head of the penis.

Although vibrators often help men with ejaculation problems, you don’t have to have any kind of medical condition to use one. You could do it just for fun by using a vibrating personal massager.
