The ingredients that you need are 2 cups of Epsom salt, 2 cups of sea salt, 1 cup of baking soda, 1/4 ounce of lavender essential oil, 1/4 ounce of tea tree essential oil and 40 drops of peppermint essential oil.

 

You mix the salt and baking soda together in a large, wide, stainless steel bowl, making sure to break up any clumps. Then you add the oils and mix everything together well. Use half a cup of the mixture and add into a basin of hot water and you can start soaking your feet in it. After soaking your feet, be sure to dry them well.

The ingredients that you will need are 2 cups of Epsom salt, ½ cup baking soda, zest of one lime and 4 drops each of lime essential oil and peppermint essential oil.

 

You mix the salt, baking soda and lime zest in a bowl together first before adding in the essential oils. You can then start to use this by adding the mixture into a basin of hot water and soaking your feet in it.

 

Epsom Salt will soothe aches, eliminate smells and softens up rough skin. Baking Soda is good for exfoliating, leaving your skin soft and smooth and helps eliminate odors.

 

Lime is routinely used for its energizing, fresh and cheerful aroma. It is well known in folklore for its ability to cleanse, purify and renew the spirit and the mind. It is also said to be effective in cleansing the aura. Peppermint is uplifting and fresh.  The menthol induces a cooling sensation, and can help to cool you down, help ease tension headaches and muscular aches and pains.

The needed ingredients are ½ cup coarse sea salt, 1 cup of brewed coffee, and 5 drops of vanilla extract. Coffee uses in this soak should be grounded from fresh beans.  Don’t use instant coffee because it contains chemicals and flavoring agents which will reduce the beautifying effect of coffee.

 

Mix the coffee and salt together and finish off by adding 5 drops of vanilla extract. Add this into a basin of hot water and dip your feet into it for about 30 minutes. If the water cools, add 1-2 mugs of hot water to balance the temperature. When you are done, dry your feet with a soft towel.

You will only need 1/2 cup of rice water and 3 tablespoons of baking soda. Cook rice in enough water so you have rice water left, around 2-3 cups. Add baking soda into it, let it cool down a bit and dip your feet for as long as the water is warm. Dry your feet well when you are done.

 

This simple recipe is very effective for smelly feet as baking soda acts as an antibacterial agent preventing excessive perspiration. It kills the existing bacteria and prevents any possible infections. The rice water is good for improving micro-circulation.
