If this is so, why not make a DIY foot scrub at home with all the natural ingredients which you can easily get in the kitchen and can be customized to your own individual needs?

 

Here are some DIY foot scrub recipes you can make use of to keep your feet clean and healthy.

 

DIY Foot Scrub Recipe #1

 

What you need for this recipe are 1 cup of white sugar, 2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil, 2 teaspoons of baking soda, 2 teaspoons of raw organic honey (or manuka honey), 1 teaspoon each of jojoba oil and lavender essential oil. You mix all the non-oil ingredients first in order of sequence here in a bowl before you add in the oils.

 

When you use this scrub, you massage in circular motion and concentrate on the rough spots of your feet. Once you rinse it, your feet will remain moisturized because of the oil. This scrub can be used on your hands as well.

 

DIY Foot Scrub Recipe #2

 

The ingredients that you need for this recipe are 8-10 strawberries, 2 tablespoons Apricot oil and 1 teaspoon of sea salt. First, you mash the strawberries, and then you add in the salt and oil to form a paste which you can now apply on your feet, massaging the paste on them in circular motion. After this, you rinse and dry your feet.

You get 10 to 11 almonds and grind them in a blender or food processor and then pour this into a bowl. Get one lemon, cut it into half and use half of the lemon fruit to squeeze some juice onto the grounded almonds. Next you add in 3 tablespoons of raw organic honey and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar. Lastly, you add 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil to form a paste. You can now rub this paste onto your feet and massage in circular motion before you rinse off.

 

DIY Foot Scrub Recipe #4

 

You gradually add lukewarm water to 1 cup of sea salt or Epsom salt to form a paste. You make sure the paste is neither too liquid nor too solid. When the paste is ready, you can rub it onto your feet and soles in circular motion before you rinse off with warm water.

 

DIY Foot Scrub Recipe #5

 

Pour one cup of fine sea salt or Epsom salt into a bowl. You then add in ¼ cup of either sweet almond oil or extra virgin olive oil into the salt and stir until it distributes evenly. Next you add in 1 tablespoon of dried peppermint leaves (this is optional). Lastly, you add in 6 drops each of peppermint essential oil and tea tree essential oil and stir again. This peppermint foot scrub provides a slight tingling sensation that will revive and invigorate tired feet.

 

DIY Foot Scrub Recipe #6

 

First of all, you take 2 tablespoons of ground oats and grind them in a coffee grinder or food processor and then pour this into a bowl. Next you add in 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of Aloe Vera gel, 1 tablespoon of raw organic honey (or manuka honey), 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and lastly 1 teaspoon of sweet almond oil or extra virgin olive oil. Mix them well to form a paste and your foot scrub is ready to be used at your own leisure and pleasure.
