Every morning, before breakfast, you drink a glass of warm water that is mixed with 4 tablespoons lemon juice and 1 tablespoon honey.


Half an hour before lunch, you can dink a glass of fresh orange, carrot or pineapple juice.


You drink ginger tea 2 to 3 times per day. You can chew a thin slice of fresh ginger root a few minutes before meals. Or grate a little ginger, mix with some lemon juice and salt, and eat a pinch or two.


Having green tea has been found to be beneficial in treating obesity, try to have one cup of green tea after every meal.


You should increase your intake of foods that enhance your digestion.

Other strategies to increase your digestion will include fasting one day a week on liquids. You may have fruit or vegetable juices, warm skim milk, light soups, teas, etc.

Common useful spices include: cumin, ginger, mustard seed, cayenne, and black pepper. Use them generously in your cooking. Use Ayurvedic herbs such as gotu kola, amalaki, and shilajit in powder or capsule form.

Apple cider vinegar also helps to increase our metabolism rate and reduce hunger. You can take 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in 500 ml of hot water and sip throughout the day (especially 30 minutes before meals).


Eat a lot of cabbage. This is good for weight loss because it contains tartaric acid, which prevents sugar and carbohydrates from being converted to fat.


Besides this, you include fiber-rich food in your diet such as oat brans, beans, lentils, fruits and green vegetables.
