The Most Prominent Sexual Health Issues Among Men

Click Here To Find Out More

Sexual health issues are problems that occur during the the sexual response cycle which may inhibit the completion of a sexual intercourse or hinders the achievement of sexual satisfaction. These issues may create problems within the relationship and the couple’s sex life. Most of these sexual health issues are treatable, a fact that prompts people to talk about their sexual problems to their partner and health care provider. For men, the most prominent sexual health issues are:

  • Ejaculation Problems
  • Erectile Dysfunction
  • Loss of Libido or Sexual Desire

Who are Prone to These Sexual Health Issues?

These prominent sexual health issues may affect men of all ages, although they may only discover it when they enter the age of sexual maturity. However, older men and those with medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, prostate cancer and depression are more prone to have these sexual health issues. When a man ages, he is gradually losing his sex hormones called testosterone which are responsible for a man’s sexual desire. Medical conditions and medications may also alter the normal blood flow, functions of the body and movement of the chemicals in the brain which affect a man’s ability to hold and sustain erections and ejaculations.

 Ejaculation Problems

Ejaculation problems are of three types: premature ejaculation, retarded ejaculation and retrograde ejaculation. Premature ejaculation occurs when a man ejaculates before or soon after he penetrates the vagina. Retarded ejaculation happens when the ejaculation is slow and gradual. Lastly, retrograde ejaculation occurs when the ejaculation is forced back and not excreted through the urethra.

These ejaculation problems usually occur out of performance anxiety, when a man is unattracted to his partner or if he is depressed and stressed. Some medical conditions such as diabetes and nerve disorders may prompt the occurrence of retrograde ejaculation.

Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction or impotence is one of the prominent sexual health issues many men deal with. It is a condition when blood is inhibited from entering the chambers of the penis and fails to generate an erection. It can be caused by low testosterone levels, atherosclerosis, stress, performance anxiety and depression.

Loss of Libido

Inhibited sexual desire or loss of libido is more prominent among men who have low levels of testosterone, diabetes and those who are dealing with psychological disorders such as depression and anxiety. Men with inhibited desire find themselves difficult to get stimulated and unable to perform a satisfying intercourse.

These prominent sexual health issues are treatable and can be managed especially if men are open to talk about it. Men with these problems must determine and address the root causes by talking to their doctor. Furthermore, open communication with their partners and living a healthy lifestyle can significantly contribute to the solution of their problems.

Can Circumcision Cure Premature Ejaculation?

You want your girl to have the best sex. You want her to experience intense orgasm. You can last long with hand job but when it comes to actual intercourse, you ejaculate under a minute. You find this so frustrating and embarrassing. You want to consider circumcision because you think the problem is due to your too sensitive foreskin which prevents you from lasting longer in bed? Is it true that circumcision can reduce or cure premature ejaculation?

It is true that an uncut penis is often more sensitive than that of a circumcised penis. The main reason is that as the glans, or the head of a circumcised penis gets used to constant rubbing against the fabrics, without the protection of the foreskin, it will become less sensitive to sexual stimulation. Due to this reason, a circumcised male is likely to take a longer time to ejaculate. To a certain extent, this happens to accidentally cure premature ejaculation.

However, there is still no convincing evidence to suggest that circumcision can make a significant difference to the time it takes for a man to ejaculate. A research done by the Journal of Sexual Medicine indicates that rates of premature ejaculation in the US (where over 70% of the males are circumcised) are similar to other parts of the world where circumcision rates are significantly lower. Though circumcision can to a certain extent reduce sensitivity (because a lot of nerve endings are removed with the foreskin), however it does not necessarily increase the time a guy takes to ejaculate.

How To Reduce Or Cure Premature Ejaculation?

(1)   Choose sex positions to help you last longer

(a)   The woman-on-top position

You will lie down on the bed and she will sit on top of you. She can either face you or her back towards you. When she is on top, you can ask her to slow down to avoid stimulating you too much.

Instead of lying on your back, you can sit face-to-face with your partner sitting on your laps. She will adjust her lower body to facilitate penetration. This position improves intimacy with your partner because you can kiss her, rub her back and suck or fondle her breasts.

For a change, you can also sit with her back facing you so that you can fondle her breasts while you penetrate her.

(b)   The side-by-side position

Both of you will lie on your side facing each other. She will lift up her leg to facilitate penetration. In this position, penetration will tend to be shallower, increasing the likelihood of better clitoral stimulation. With shallower thrusting, the sensation will not become too overwhelming for you.

(2)   Focus on her pleasure

In my opinion, the best way to cope with premature ejaculation is not to think about how long you should last inside her. Instead you divert your attention to her. You focus on pleasuring her. You make sure she orgasms first before you ejaculate. For most women, the easiest and most effective way to make her orgasm is to stimulate her clitoris.

You can do this by using your hands to masturbate her. Since most women love oral sex, you can use your tongue to lick her clitoris. If your hand or tongue gets tired before she orgasms, you can continue to stimulate her by using a vibrator plus other fun aids.

These are just two of the many ways you can do to delay your ejaculation. For more ways to control premature ejaculation, read on more from Long Sex and/or Prolonged Pleasure.

Sex Tips: How To Last Long

Click On Here To Find Out More

It is one of those things that most men fear in bed. Before she cums, you come first. The disappointed look in her eyes is the last thing you want it to happen in her sexual experience. How to prevent premature ejaculation (PE) so that you can last long enough for her to reach orgasm before yours? Let’s find out below!

(1)   Pinpoint the underlying causes of your PE

The truth is while there are many causes of premature ejaculation which affects every guy differently, they can all be summarized by one main cause, which is the failure to take control of the pleasure you experience during sex.

The main reason that you are not lasting long enough is because you are allowing yourself to experience pleasure, or stimulation, with too high intensity. This high intensity of stimulation is what causes you to ejaculate earlier than you want.

To last longer in bed, you need to take control of your stimulation. You need to realize that what you are doing before and during sex can dramatically influence how long you can last. It is only when you understand that this has nothing to do with your age or penis size, it has to do with those every little action you take before and during sex which have some kind of impact on your stimulation, then it becomes easy to make a change.

(2)   Choose sex positions that can help you to last longer

Sex positions can have a dramatic effect on how long you last in bed. When it comes to choosing those last longer positions, it is more about having sex in those positions that will not stimulate you too soon or too strong.

One great position that makes this possible is the standing up. In this position, you make love either by standing in front or behind your woman and she can be standing or sitting at the edge of a table or bed. The reason this works so well is because when you are standing up, tension and pressure will be directed away from your penis. Part of this tension and pressure will be directed to your legs. This will relieve some of the pressure and stimulation on your penis, helping you to last longer.

Another position you can consider is the woman-on-top position. Why this position works? The main reason is because unlike most other positions, this position does not require you to move a lot other than using your fingers to stimulate her clitoris and other erogenous zones. Lesser movement will mean lesser stimulation on your part and you can get your woman to slow down her movements so that both of you will have higher chances of reaching orgasm at the same time.

Another way to help you last longer is when you sense you are quite close to orgasm, you switch into another less stimulating position.

(3)   Reduce the amount of friction to the penis tip

The tip of the penis (also known as the glans) is the most sensitive part. In the normal thrusting movement, it will be like pushing in as much as you can and pulling out in a way that cause the highly sensitive glans to rub against the entrance of her vagina, which offers you intense stimulation. To minimize the stimulation to your glans, after you push in, you do not pull out too much so that most of the time you are deep inside her. This will avoid getting your glans from being too strongly stimulated by your thrusting.

(4)   Focus on her pleasure

Instead of piling too much attention and pressure on yourself by trying to time yourself, you can distract from such stress by re-directing your attention on your woman. You slowly down and stimulate one by one her erogenous zones. This will increase the chances of your woman reaching orgasm faster and before you. After she have her first orgasm, her body will be highly sensitive to your stimulation. She will then reach orgasm again very soon and will be sexually satisfied. Under this circumstance, how much time you spend inside her will no longer be an issue. After all, she already gets her orgasm before yours.

Sex Tips – How To Last Longer

Do you want to climax at the same time as your girl or to let her orgasm first? Do you feel helpless at those moments when you seem to lose control over the time you make love to your woman?

According to a survey of 900 women conducted by a female magazine, nearly two-thirds of them have had sex with a man who experienced premature ejaculation (PE). PE affects men of all ages and it happens to all men at some time in their lives. This happens especially to some guys who are inexperienced or to others who are too highly excited or who have abstained from sex for a long time.

PE can be caused by physical or psychological factors, or a combination of both. Some studies indicated that the pelvic muscles which surround the erectile tissues in the penis are in a hyperactive state in men with PE. For the majority of men with PE, the cause is mainly psychological such as feeling pressure to perform. This can cause a feeling of inadequacy which can manifest in the form of performance anxiety and avoiding sex.

How long should you last in bed? There is no fix timing here. According to a sexuality survey done on over 7,000 men, 21% of them ejaculated within 50-60 seconds and another 62% ejaculated within 1-5 minutes. Only 1 in 6 lasted over 5 minutes and 1 in 10 over 10 minutes. This can be subjective also. Some men who ejaculated at less than a minute did not feel they have PE and yet some who lasted over 5 minutes still feel they should last longer.

While impotence drugs can sort out problems in the short term, long term solutions can be found through non-medical and less costly ways. Here are some ways to cope with PE.

(1)   Reflex control exercises

Masturbation a few hours before sex is said to be the easiest way for a man to delay ejaculation. But what I am referring here is not just masturbation. It is the use of the start-and-stop repetitive action to control your sexual response. During each masturbating session, you stroke yourself until you feel you are about to ejaculate and then you stop probably for a minute before you stimulate again. You do this for a few times until you decide you want to ejaculate. This exercise will train you to control and delay your sexual response. You can combine this with deep breathing exercises. When you feel you are about to reach climax, you breath in deeply to relax your body and muscle in order to delay ejaculation.

(2)   Focus on pleasuring your partner

If you feel pressured to perform, or have performance anxiety issues, you are more likely to experience PE. Telling ourselves to relax and not to be too stressed up is easier said than done because the more you tell yourself not to do it, the more your mind will think this way. The best way to cope with this is not to think about how long you should last but to switch focus to your partner’s pleasure. You pay attention to your partner’s body and learn/observe when she is about to reach orgasm. You learn to stimulate your partner and pleasure her so that she can reach orgasm sooner and before you. When you see that she is enjoying your stimulation, not only you will get turned on, you will also feel confident you are performing well enough.

(3)   Squeeze yourself to numb the sensation

During intercourse, when you feel you are about to ejaculate, you or your partner will gently squeeze the base of the penis shaft to hinder sexual stimulation and wait until the pressure for ejaculation stops. This squeezing action can be done repeatedly until climax is reached by both parties. Also, remember to empty your bladder before intercourse because having a full bladder will add pressure to the PC muscles and increase the chances of PE.

(4)   Choose the sex positions that can help you last longer

(a)   Woman-on-top position

When she is on top, your penis is less stimulated. Ask her to go slowly because long and fast thrusting can increase the chances of PE.

(b)   Modified missionary

You get her to lie on her back with the lower part of her body near the edge of bed or desk and lift her legs straight up pointing to the ceiling. Then you give shallow penetration in standing position. This position is effective because when you are standing or kneeling, it can help to restrict blood flow from your extremities. The penis will not be overly stimulated. This will give you greater control over your arousal and help you to last longer.

What You Need To Know About First Time Sex

Click Here To Find Out More

Sexual pleasure is one of the best feelings in the world. Most people’s first experience with sexual pleasure and orgasm is through masturbation. How about having sex with someone else?

There are a number of factors that can impact one’s experience of first time sex. Whether it is the first kiss, touching, oral sex or the positions you choose all these male sexual activities with a partner serve as a powerful experience. Even experienced men make rookie mistakes when they go to bed with a new woman for the first time.

If you are fumbling with the process, it becomes difficult to focus on pleasing her. For many women, first time sex is an indicator of a relationship’s potential and how much you care about her. Here is how to pave the way for a great first time and the many more enjoyable moments to follow.

(1)   Go slow

The last thing you want to do to turn her on is to act desperate. The three-date rule is not reliable. Most women typically wait eight or more dates before sleeping with a man. She will drop hints when she is ready. You will notice this when she creates total privacy for both of you.

You need to reassure her that you are with her not just for sex. You need to give her a lot of hugs and kisses especially the kissing part. Do not be a sloppy kisser. Trace her lips with your tongue and alternate soft kisses with gentle sucking on her lips work best. Spend at least fifteen minutes kissing and caressing before moving down to the lower part of her body. Many women take about eight minutes to become aroused before they want clitoral stimulation.

(2)   Stimulate her clitoris

Most women want their partners to spend at least fifteen minutes on the area between her legs before they can reach orgasm. You use your tongue to make your first full stroke from her perineum to her inner vaginal lips and then barely touch her clitoris. Then you kiss her inner thighs. You return to stimulate the area around her clitoris.

When her breathing gets rapid, she holds your head tightly with her hands or even push your head closer to her body, her body gets stiff or even arches towards you, which are signs that she needs direct stimulation on clitoris preferably with a little bit more pressure or force. You explore with the various moves to find a rhythm that suits her. You maintain this rhythm until she orgasms.

(3)   You choose sex positions that enhance first sexual experience for her

A common problem that happens during the first sexual encounter is to get tensed up resulting in premature ejaculation. You get her to lie on her back with her knees slightly bent and place pillows or a specially-designed love cushion under her hips. You kneel between her legs and enter her as you simultaneously stroke her clitoris with your hand. Start slowly with shallow penetration while keeping your body muscles relaxed. This position is very effective because when you are kneeling it helps to restrict the flow of blood to the genitals so that your penis is not overly stimulated.

First time sex is usually painful for a girl. Therefore it is better to steer clear of deep entry in order to make things as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. A great way to do this is to give her the reins in a sex position such as the reverse cowgirl. This position allows her to control the speed and depth and also has the advantage of making your penis feel bigger.

It is perfectly normal for a girl to have difficulty in achieving orgasm on the first-go-around. If you find yourself in this situation you can try penetrating her from behind. If this is your girl’s first time, make sure you enter her slowly. Another advantage of rear entry is that you can easily stimulate her clitoris with your hand.

Sometimes the discomfort that happens during first time sex is more to do with vaginal dryness. When she is nervous about losing her virginity, it can inhibit her ability to relax, get aroused and lubricated. You get her to lay back on just about any edge big enough to support her with her feet on the floor. You penetrate her in either standing or kneeling position. Many women enjoy manual clitoral stimulation and this position gives you the opportunity to do this to get her ready and willing.

(4)   Do not finish abruptly

You should not turn your back towards her immediately after you have finished, making her feel that she is only just wanted for sex. Most women prefer that their partners to maintain some degree of closeness after sex. Cuddling, even just taking her hand or laying your arm over her stomach is enough to make her feel wanted.

Make your first time or hers and every time an opportunity to give her a wonderful experience. If you need ideas on how you are going to do this you can read further at Hot Sex and/or Make Her Orgasm
